Information for the newborn sessions:
These sessions take place in your home. They are lifestyle based which means we will capture these memories in your living room, bedroom or nursery.

I bring swaddles, blankets & headbands

This session does not guarantee sleepy posed newborn portraits, however we may just get these, but the baby runs the show. Should time allow and your baby is very well asleep, some simple sleeping poses may be done.

With this session you have the option to make it a family session. Or we can focus on just the babe. Your choice.

What time of day will our session be?

Outdoor sessions will be taken an hour before sunset.

Newborn and in door sessions will be booked in the morning or daytime.
How far in advance should I book my my photo session?

I am currently booking approximately 4-8 weeks in advance. Fill out the contact form or email me to inquire.

Newborn sessions - please email me at beginning of pregnancy, since we won't know the exact date of birth, ill take your due date and have you email me as soon as possible after the arrival of the baby.

Christmas card photos are usually taken at photo sessions from September to October. (Everyon fall I will offer multiple mini session days)
But where do we our family photo session?

I am happy to recommend some of my favorite locations to you. I love the beach, a field and wooden areas. These neutral and simple background tend to produce dreamy photos.

Travel for any shoot is included up to 15 miles from Boston, MA.
What should we wear?

I love neutral colors. Ivory, tan, white, grey. I love textures like macrame and linen. I love patterns like floral and plaid. I love dresses and jeans. Mix these all together and you'll be good to go. Avoid bright colors like hot pink, red & busy loud patterns. But add in accents like soft and creamy pink, burnt orange, mustard yellow, earthy greens and blues.

Something to keep in mind: your outfits and clothes will be the main theme of your photos. If you are picturing bright and airy photos with your favorite colors then keep that in mind while picking outfits! What do your dream family photos look like? If they are soft and elegant? Boho chic? Edgy? Think of these things while picking your outfits.
